1. Who you are contracting with

Angel in a Pan ("we", "us", "our") provides a cooking assistant web app that helps you generate recipes from ingredients you already have at home (the "Service"). By using the Service you are entering into an agreement with Angel in a Pan, operating under the name "Angel in a Pan".

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• commit fraud, send spam, or harass other users;
• infringe any intellectual property or other rights;
• upload malware, attempt to probe, scan, or breach the Service's security; or
• scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos, ingredients lists, messages, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host and process that content solely so we can provide the Service to you.

6. AI-generated content

Recipes and other suggestions are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your dietary needs. You are responsible for deciding whether to follow them, for verifying ingredient safety and allergens, and for any cooking outcomes. The Service does not provide medical, nutritional, or professional advice. Do not rely on outputs for any decision where accuracy matters without independent verification.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including all software, branding, designs, and documentation, is owned by Angel in a Pan and is protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have selected.

8. Payments, subscriptions, and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, taxes, cancellations, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Switching between monthly and yearly takes effect at the next renewal. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current billing period.

9. Service availability

We work hard to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may change, be added, or be removed over time.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our policies. You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.
